Playing dress-up with my sweet girl!
Two weeks after welcoming baby Elle into our family, my gal pal and talented photography, Skylar Wyatt, came to our home to capture some really sweet moments in her nursery.
I ordered a bunch of girlie outfits and accessories from Etsy shops and was so excited to play dress-up! While I tried to plan out her eating and diaper schedule to ensure she slept right through the shoot, she had other plans. We had to stop mid-shoot so I could nurse and were dodging juicy toots -- making some of the bare bum shots risky! Skylar and I giggled through it together and like she always does, she snapped so many amazing pictures that my family and I will always treasure of Elle's first days. Here are a few of my favorites!
Quick Tips:
Crank the heat in the shoot space so your baby is warm and toasty.
Plan your baby's feeding schedule to ensure they are 'milk drunk'.
Have a diaper close by when doing the bare bum shots to avoid a mess! YUCK!
Have the outfits planned out and be ready to move from one to the next.
