Family, love, and new beginnings!
Family photoshoots with kids are always an adventure, but each year, we still hit the sand to capture a moment in time. For our fall 2024 family photos, we gathered our extended family, including my parents, my brother, his beautiful wife (who’s expecting their first child in early 2025).
Despite strong winds and a slight chill in the air, the evening sky and tall grass provided the perfect natural backdrop.
After lining up for the full family Christmas card photos (coming to a mailbox near you in the coming weeks), we captured many sweet moments all the while wrangling and bribing the children with lollipops.
As a family, we’re always on the go, so having a moment to come together and capture these photos will forever remind us of this stage in life—full of anticipation, love, and laughter.
If you’re wondering, yes, the kids did earn their lollipops but in typical fashion, Nathan dropped his in the sand and the tears flowed. At least we were done taking photos at that point! Oh, and he smashed his face of his bed two nights before (of course) — nothing photoshop could not erase. #BoyMom
