A Peanut Butter and Chocolate Snack
These kid-friendly no-bake protein balls are both nutritious and delicious! This simple snack made with powdered peanut butter, sugar-free applesauce, and dark chocolate chips are a hit with kids. They’re packed with protein and healthy ingredients, making them a great option for an after-school snack, or a lunchbox treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup powdered peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar-free applesauce
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup rolled oats (optional, for added texture)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the powdered peanut butter and applesauce until well combined. The mixture should be thick but easy to stir.
2. Stir in the dark chocolate chips (and rolled oats if you want a little extra chew).
3. Scoop out portions and place the bite-sized balls on parchment paper.
4. Place the protein balls on a plate or baking sheet and either refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up, or if you like them really cold with a more firm texture, freeze the protein balls.
