White Chocolate Peppermint Martini

A tasty treat for mom and a sweet surprise for the kids!

I LOVE peppermint! So much that I add two pumps to my chia tea, iced or hot, throughout the year! So when Christmas rolls around, I try to find ways to incorporate peppermint into food and drinks.

And let's be honest, while the holidays are magical, they are also filled with A LOT of hustle and bustle. So do yourself a favor -- shake up this cocktail and enjoy while wrapping Christmas presents, baking holiday cookies or moving Elfie to his next location!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz peppermint vodka

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka

  • 1 oz white chocolate liquer

  • 1 oz cream of coconut

  • Crushed peppermint candy cane

  • White chocolate syrup or chips

Directions

  • Rim your glass with white chocolate. If you are using chips, you will need to melt before use. I recommend warming water in pot on the stove, placing the white chocolate chips in a ramekin inside a strainer above the water, stirring frequently and brining the white chocolate to a liquid form. The white chocolate does not have to be hot, just slightly warm and in liquid form.

  • Gently crush your candy canes in a ziplock bag with a mallet or muddler tool. Empty onto a plate and dip your white chocolate rimmed glass with the peppermint chips. Set aside while you shake your martini!

  • Fill your martini shaker with ice, peppermint vodka, vanilla vodka, white chocolate liquer and cream of coconut. Once shaken well, pour the liquid (no ice) into your white chocolate and peppermint rimmed glass and ENJOY!

For the Kids:

  • Scoop the leftover melted white chocolate onto a spoon and roll in the remaining candy cane chips. Let set for a sweet treat the kiddos on Santa's nice list can enjoy!

Quick Takeaways

  • Warm your white chocolate chips on the stove in a ramekin to get the perfect temperature and consistence.

  • Put your candy canes in a bag when you crush to control the mess.

  • Use the white chocolate peppermint spoons to stir a cup of hot chocolate to give it a peppermint kick!
